On a positive note, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has created a health unit for Indigenous children. It is dedicated to improving healthcare for American Indian/ Alaska Native/ Hawaiian Native (AI/AN/NH) communities in Philadelphia and across the country.

“We collaborate closely with the AI/AN/NH community to understand their pediatric health priorities and concerns,” said Sanseau. “Our commitment is to deliver inclusive clinical care, provide culturally appropriate training for staff, and support research and advocacy that reflects the community’s needs.”
